This is considered by some to be different from the usual sp which tends to flower well before Xmas. I collected some in early March and they are at Te Papa now. Mine were at altitude but I presume we can't use that to account for yours.

Hi Matt. This entity is late flowering and will require DNA analysis to determine whether it is a separate species. There have been a number of observations recently, indicating that, if nothing else, this entity is relatively widespread and not particularly uncommon.
