Description

Coprosma virescens cultivated plant with berries. The berry you can see in the photo is on the point of ripening. The berries do not all ripen at the same time and the birds are adept at harvesting them so you seldom see a coloured (white) one.

Description

Lamium confertum Abundant weed in garden. There are two dead nettle species in my garden. I have decided this one is L. confertum aftre looking at images on the internet. see http://angio.bergianska.se/Bilder/asterids/Plantaginales/Lamiaceae/Lamium/Lamium%20confertum%205%20Copenhagen%20Bot%20Garden%20140719.JPG for a plant that is indistinguisable from this.

I have added a photo comparing L. confertum (left) and L. pupureum (right) showing the bracts and the flowers.
