Can anyone help with he identification of this tree ? I thought it might be an ash. the clusters of leaves are quite distinctive. There are a lot of them on the sidewalks in Blenheim.

Any ideas on what this tree is ? I thought it would be easy but I can't find it. It has pinnate leaves with three toothed leaflets _ a pair and a terminal - and prominent veins on the underside of the leaflets, like an alder

Any help identifying this would be appreciated. The tree has been cut down but these branches are sprouting from the base. The leaves are pinnate, toothed and strongly aromatic when crushed.

Any ideas on which type of gum this is. I thought it was a silver dollar but the bark is very flakey and the leaves have a red edge which both look different.

Is this an Elm ? I thought it might be that or a Lime although I don't believe Lime's are common in NZ. It was from a juvenile tree, trunk and branches were smooth and dark. The leaves have white hairs on the underside at some of the the vein joints (which I thought were characteristic of Lime).
