Description

The water sample I collected out of the pond was from an area without anything around it and in direct sunlight. The water was mostly clear- just a little murky with specks of dirt in it.

A pretty yellow slime mould growing through the sand covering a piece of driftwood.

Description

To be honest I have less than no idea as to what this is.
It was living in leaf litter in a dark damp spot under some bushes.
Size: A bit smaller than a fingernail.
It was definitely attached to the leaf litter.

Amoebozoa is a major taxonomic group containing about 2,400 described species of amoeboid protists, often possessing blunt, fingerlike, lobose pseudopods and tubular mitochondrial cristae. In most classification schemes, Amoebozoa is ranked as a phylum within either the kingdom Protista or the kingdom Protozoa. In the classification favored by the International Society of Protistologists, it is retained as an unranked "supergroup" within Eukaryota.
